Psychotherapy for Individuals and Couples

In my practice, I help clients navigate the problems and relationships that are causing stress in their lives.  I use a collaborative, trusting, relational approach to enhance psychological growth and development.  My goal is to help each person gain insight into the cause of their distress, and create change from this understanding.  Results include relief from anxiety, depression, fears and other symptoms. You will experience an improvement in sense of self, relationships, and life fulfillment.  I also help clients learn practical tools to manage difficult life transitions and losses.

Creating and sustaining healthy relationships can be one of the most fulfilling and challenging developmental tasks, especially during life’s stressful transitions.  I work with couples to create and improve healthy intimate relationship bonds. I incorporate various attachment-based and cognitive behavioral methods into my work with couples, including Gottman Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Therapeutic Techniques include: psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness practice, practical problem solving, and an emphasis on enhancing individual strengths and building self esteem. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and EMDR. My approach is always client-centered and trauma-informed. 
​Therapy Sessions are confidential 50 minute meetings conducted either in person on on a HIPPA compliant video call. Each client is unique, and together we will determine a frequency of sessions.  I will typically see you once a week or every other week, depending on your needs.  I am not in network with any insurance providers, but can provide Superbills for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement.
