​​Perinatal Mental Health
Becoming a parent is one of the most beautiful and chaotic times in our lives.  The journey through fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period can be complex and messy.  You may be experiencing anxiety, depression or grief.  You’re not alone. Together, we’ll explore your feelings and develop practical strategies to help you navigate both perinatal challenges and broader life transitions.
​​Life Transitions
Navigating any major life changes can be overwhelming. Therapy can help you cope and adapt during these transitions, as well as gain insights that will help you get "unstuck" from old patterns. My goal is to help you identify and manage underlying issues that are causing stress, so you can make decisions that facilitate your happiness.
 Trauma Recovery
"Trauma" is a word that encompasses both situations we experience that are overwhelming or hurtful, as well as how we respond to them.  We have natural and important ways to protect ourselves from pain - the old limbic system response of"fight, flight, freeze, or fawn."  Therapy can help you process difficult events in a safe and healing way, so that you can feel more present and mindful instead of reactive. EMDR is a particularly useful approach to help with this.  Whether you are recovering from a traumatic birth or finding that parenting is bringing up complex feelings, therapy can help.
Grief and Loss
One especially challenging life transition is losing someone, or something, we love.  Grief shows up in many ways, whether we have lost a loved one or are facing sudden or unexpected changes.  I can help you identify and understand how to move through the grieving process with self-compassion.  I have specialized training in working with parents through the devastating experience of pregnancy and infant loss.

Healthy relationships are essential for overall well-being. Becoming a parent brings many relationship changes and challenges. I am here to support you in creating healthy attachments to yourself, your partner, and your child. 
​Expert Guidance
I have extensive training and experience in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and trauma informed therapy.  I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and EMDR.​ I strive to center therapy around your unique needs and goals. My approach is compassionate and empathic, focused on your health and well-being.

I offer flexible appointment scheduling to accommodate the diverse needs of busy people.  I am happy to meet with you in person, or can provide HIPPA-compliant Telehealth appointments - whatever is more convenient for you.
